Yoga for kids
Yoga is very beneficial for children. Children’s bodies are growing and learning, and yoga is a great way to help them get the stretching they need as their bodies grow. It increases coordination and self esteem. Yoga can teach kids how to live in the present as they focus on what their bodies are doing now. It can also teach them to take time to be calm and focused.
The Yoga Dice
This easy to make yoga dice is a fun solution to getting more yoga in your child’s life. We’ve included a printable with 6 sides to a dice with different poses on it. I made my dice by cutting 6 pieces of cardboard and taping them together in a square. I then glued each paper to a different side and covered with clear packing tape to protect the dice. I did each side about 5 inches wide and tall.
