Flu season is here are you ready? Ironically flu season generally starts with Halloween and goes right on till Christmas. Ever wonder why…maybe it’s cause we go out eat a ton of candy for Halloween then keep it around while nibbling on a few pieces here and there. As far as sugary treats go Halloween candy blends into candied yams, fruit cakes, and the yummy pies of thanksgiving…which blends into candy canes, chocolates, and all the yummy desserts you are making for your neighbors and they’re making for you for Christmas. It’s no wonder with all this sugar for three straight months that our immune system would suffer. Not to mention we are traveling, staying up late, and just cramming a bunch of extra things into our schedule. Between all the fun we are having we are also adding extra stress to our poor immune system. So how do we prepare for all this?
