You want some of the most moist brownies you’ve ever tasted.
You’ve got to try these!
Brownies are my go to dessert. As a young girl I was a little baker and would always bake brownies. Although now when I bake them they aren’t full of sugar and white flour.
I altered this recipe from the one I always used growing up and it turned out super delicious!
The wheat you will use in this recipe is still wet. After it has sprouted and before you dehydrate it again.
1 cup butter (preferably raw and pastured)
1/2 cup cocoa
4 eggs (preferably from pastured chickens)
2 cups sweetener… (maple syrup or raw honey)
2 cups sprouted undehydrated wheat
1 tsp. baking powder (aluminum free like this)
1/2 tsp. sea salt
nuts as desired
Step 1: Start by putting butter and cocoa in a saucepan. Melt in pan and cool.
Step 2: Put two cups of sprouted wheat in the blender. I mixed until mostly blended. Depending on the quality of blender you use this may not work fantastically to get them super smooth. They may get kind of sticky but just get them blended a little
Step 3: Add eggs, sweetener, baking powder, and salt in blender with wheat. Add butter/cocoa mixture. Blend until mostly smooth.
Step 4: If using nuts add at this time and stir in.
Step 5: Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. (yes that hole in the middle is where I poked it with a knife to make sure it was done. isn’t it beautiful. 🙂 )
